I\'m hosed. need ACR rear shock yokes for Viperdays in 2 weeks!

Bought a set of ACR shocks. Thought my GTS yokes would transfer. Viper tech found today they don't...

Anyone have a source??

Dang, I thought they would too. Remember - it's just money.

Why won't they transfer? I have a pair of yokes that I thought were "extra" that fit my Koni 2812 shocks (there is a threaded sleeve that adapts the threads on the shock body to the internal threads in the yoke). Is it just the lack of this adaptor that keeps the shock bodies from threading into the yokes?

Email me privately and I'll take measurements if that will help. I'd part with the yokes I have, but if I won't be able to put my 2812s on my stock yokes, I better hang onto them.

I spoke with Jeff - Bobby Archer has the sleeve that adapts the threads to make them fit and they are being overnighted. All should be well.

Thanks, Keith - that was exactly the issue.

Those on ebay are still there. It appears that the GTS yokes or 'forks' as some people lke to call them have acme threads and have a larger ID that the Koni ACR adjustables. Thus, an adapter of sorts with Acme OD threads and SAE ID threads solves the problem.

Bobby at Bobby Archer Motorsports had this solved before he even saw me coming.

If you have non-Koni ACR shocks the situation is different.

Consult a professional...

Doug

I am another Viper owner in need. I seem to be short a supercharged
Viper to run at VIR. Think I could borrow one? Promise to return it!
