Why don't you go to high flow cats while you have it apart. In addition to the extra hp it will also drastically lower the sill temp. As long as you can get the stainless band clamps to seal there is not much diff over welding. If for some reason you need to fabricate an adapter just go to a good muffler shop and they can fab you a part, thus, no need to weld.

First, thanks Jon B. I received the belanger cat-back last night. It looks pretty stout - it's supposed to sound that way too. A while back I had talked to a Viper tech who recommended welding it to the cats (better flow that way). How critical is it to weld vice clamp it?
Also, I'm considering doing the install myself (I put Corsa on the ZR-1 I used to have). Has anyone tried it and would you recommend self-installation or is it smarter to have it done.

Thanks,
Jack Janney
