Just ordered some Polk DB650 speakers off ebay

Although I rarely want to listen to the radio in this car, I can hardly hear it when I do want to. So I ordered some new speakers per the speaker threads on here. I hope the are louder.

You need to order DB651S instead of DB650. The one you ordered will not fit properly

Are you keeping the amp stock?

Let us know how much better it sounds. Not that I ever listen the radio.

DB650 have been discontinued but if u can find them then they will fit.... the DB651 do not fit unless u drill your own holes in the speaker.... the DB651s will fit fine as they have the 3 hole like the DB650

The DB651s are rated at 165W
the DB650 and DB651 are rated at 180W

the black goes to the negative terminal of the speaker

I put the DB650's in about 2 months ago (bought from Ebay also) and they work very well! I have an 04 roadster with Corsa Track exhaust, so I am loud as well. The speakers allow you to at least hear the radio a bit vs the stock ones. I think you will like them. Follow the install instructions in previous posts on this forum - the green wire, etc.. That helped me a bunch - took about 20 minutes to install/solder off/on.
