Tilton flywheel is lightest you can get.

Not cheap, however, and you've got to replace the stock clutch with a carbon/carbon Tilton clutch.

Crazy free-revving.

I put the 19 lbs Fidanza aluminum flywheel in my SRT10 and I couldn't be happier. Many people warned me it would buck alot but I didn't really notice the difference. I drive the car a lot (12K yr) and it feels and drives just about right. Only noticeable change was free revving engine.:2tu:

With the help of light flywheel and 3.55 gears, I usually jump ahead of Z06

Tilton 12.5lb flywheel is much too light for street use, you will kill your clutch life. Tilton heavyweight [still lighter than OEM] is the way to go.

Remember, with a Tilton, not only are you losing the flywheel, but also the pressure plate altogether. The pressure plate accounts for 50% of the inertia for starters. The "lightweight" Tilton has only 15% of the mass moment of inertia of the stock assembly, while something like a Fidanza+OEM clutch will retain about 80%.

I hope that puts it into perspective on just HOW big of a change the Lightweight is.
