HI all.
The radio has finally given up. CD went out a few months ago and now it only plays for about 10 seconds and shuts off. Anyone have a stock unit willing to sell CHEAP?
Thanks, John

I have an RB1 with xm sat and nav and actually really like it. The nav works via a loaded cd that stays in the 6 disc unit, but mine is outdated to 2004 and I cant find an updated version. It still works for most travel but I have my Garmin to rely on when I travel. The XM is modern and reliable. From what I can tell its about a $1600 upgrade just for the head unit. I dont know where you can get a factory unit cheaper...maybe ebay or someone on here. I like my radio due to the factory appeal. Aftermaket is nice and the good thing is you can design it how you want it. I can see the benefit of upgrading to a complete aftermarket setup, but from what I have been told you have to add a lot of components if you want to integrate aftermarket with factory. This may not help your issue but its my .02 on factory vs aftermarket.
