Since most Vipers out there have low mileage, has anyone experienced their tires getting very hard before wearing them down?
For example my car is a 96 and has a little over 600 miles, but the tires are really hard, to the point where the brakes will lock up, traction is very limited, and if the road is wet, you think you're ice skating.

In all seriousness they are not safe. Has anyone else experienced this and has had their tires replaced by Michelin?
The warranty on the tires is for six years, but there is an exclusion for 'ozone'. Before i call Michelin i would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply JonB,
I'll look into shaving the tires down. The reason that i don't drive it too often is that the roads around here simply put: **** and traffic is horrendous. I'm planning to move to florida within 5 years. By then the engine will be broken in and then the fun will start. By the way my 1990 zr1 has 84,000 miles and even though it not a Viper, it is a lot of fun to drive.
I do agree that the Viper demands a lot of respect from the driver.
