Misfire

Yesterday I was canyon carving and the car sputtered several times coming out of the corners.
I had more than 1/4 of fuel........
Today I look under the car and saw one of the O2 sensors unplugged.
The connectors were broken...I had the wires taped together.
Can the unplugged sensor make this kind of misfire?

The unplugged 02 would cause the PCM to go into "open loop" mode and dump fuel on the respective bank. It certainly would cause a misfire. Check the spark plugs on that side to make sure they aren't fouled.

I will try to replicate the events to see if the problem persists or not.
