Missing Posts

I've noticed 2 of my posts to the new board vanished after a day or two. I realize you have a policy of pulling inappropriate posts. But neither of these was in violation of any of your posted rules. Both were pretty ordinary actually.

I also assumed that if you did pull a post of mine that you would send me Email to notify me. Would you have? Were they pulled intentionally?

One was a reply to a request for help in getting streaming video onto the web from the good folks at extreme bikini. And the other was a reply to Brad's "Which country is this?" post. Now I realize that my post disagreed with Brad's, but if it was pulled because of my opinion, then I will trouble you no more.

I think Your posts are still there.Check your preferences for how many days of posts to show. If it is set for only 1 or 2 days that may be why you can't find them.

Changed my profile from "20 Days" to "All Posts". No difference. Specifically this thread:

has only 5 replies when I look at it, none of them mine. And I did see my post there the day I posted it.

Tony, glad to hear you policy is similar to other boards I have been on. And glad to hear I have not crossed any lines, at least not yet ayway

For some reason there are two topics of "What country is this"?

Also, go to the "Off Topic" folder and look at the lower right part of the page. It will show "Page 1, 2, etc" when there get to be a lot of posts. Your missing post is on Page 2. You'll know if a post really gets pulled cuz you get a special custom Avatar. Just kidding

Ah, the light dawns, and I feel a little foolish. Can't say why it did not occur to me that Brad might have posted the same message twice in the same forum on the same day. I just stoped looking after I found it! Thanks for the help Marv!

Member List? Seems like I find new features on this board every day.

On the Main Page click on your "in Box" messages or just go to:

You are on Page 2 if you use the PAGE method, but can't see you if I look through the "B's" using the LETTER method.

You'll find a nice feature that allows you to see "Search for more posts by XXXXXX" at the bottom of any post. It lists all the the posts for a particular user.......

It is actually pretty handy if you are looking for responses to a post you may have put up a while back. But please don't use it a lot 'till be beef up the server as serches are pretty CPU intensive
