Could be the lighting at CAAP plus the silver stripes. GTS Blue is only available on the GTS trim level. The only other blue available in Shadow Blue pearl which is more like Sapphire Blue.

Yep... flourescent lights and reflection from the grey floor and walls.

I believe that's my Styker red with the sepia interior. At least it's consistent with my status. (I hope anyway)

I was drooling over that, wishing it were mine, lol. How long since it entered frame, and what status is it now? I'm hoping mine will start soon, running out of time for my Laguna Seca weekend at the end of June.

THANKS for sharing the photos! Hopefully others post more of them, too. My solid white SRT is waiting in the shipping room. :)

Brian, did they ever explain why your LE took so long?

Great to see all the new snakes! Looking forward to seeing Brian GTS Gen V at the tail of the Dragon 5/31/13!
My concern as a fan of the Stryker Red in PIC one: It looks like the deck lid is from a different car or paint batch!
Hope its just an optical illusion from the PIC.
Also would stripes look better going through the rear panel, instead of stop and start? Dont get me wrong they all look sweet!

Awesome Brian! Glad to hear you finally got it! Thanks for the pics too!

Okay, I have only driven it about 20 miles. Having had a Gen II, Gen IV, and now the Gen V, there are several things I noticed right away. Some of these probably sound silly, but oh well. :) I'll get more detailed after I drive it a bit more this week.

- It revs much faster than prior generations.
- It is the best sounding stock Viper I have ever heard.
- The car feels SO TIGHT and much less squirrely.
- The shifter is phenomenal. It's very smooth and love the short throws!!!
- The door closes are quieter and seem more solid.
- The difference between street and race mode suspension is night and day. The car rides very smooth in street mode. If you close your eyes, you would not think you were riding in a Viper.
- You can lift the hood with one finger.
- OMG the interior...really feels like you are driving a very high end sports car....well, I guess I am.
- The touch screen interface is very well designed and I love how you can configure your gauges. It is full of features.
- Okay, the 18 speaker sounds system sounds AMAZING. Lots of low end bass and a nice mid-range.
- The steering wheel is nice and thick....feels really nice in your grip.
- The seat fitment is perfect for me. I'm 5' 11" and slim. I did not notice the seats being hard as others have mentioned, but I have only been in the car 20 miles.
- I'm impressed so far.

More to come next week....

Thanks for the pics and initial assessment. It's glad to see that so many new owners are more than happy with the car.

Brian, did they ever explain why your LE took so long?

It was my understanding from my dealer that there was a logistics issue that they are ironing out.
