Many GEN1 owners have put GEN2 17" and GEN2 18" wheels on their car. It gives a GEN1 car an updated fresh look.

Aftermarket wheels do the same, but makes the car more personalized based on the fact that there are several different styles of aftermarket wheels available.

I just put the 5 spoke Sidewinder (Copperhead) wheels on my '94 and the setup looks very good. I like the recessed lip design of the Sidewinder better than
the Coupe wheel's flat spoke extending to the edge. The lip design looks more
appropriate to the Gen 1 car.

I have a few digital pictures but do not know what it takes to
post them here. Car is black with Autoform hardtop...if you're
interested I'll try to figure out the posting procedure this weekend.
I also have wheel and tire weights as there were some previous
threads on this question if anyone wants to know. I put the old
setup (stock) and the new setup on the scales.

am I the only guy that likes the stock GenI wheels? I guess seeing my first viper as a kid with those wheels just burned it in my mind...

I like the new GenIII wheels, but my favorite are the late GenII wide chrome 5-spokes...
