Phew, what a day! Great to meet some of you guys! It was good to see Larry,Steve, John, and Dimitros. Here's a whole bunch of pics! I baught lots of stuff like a viper lanyard, 2 shirts, a huge poster, and two coozies for my soda. :D I'd like to thank Steve and Brian for giving me a chance to get a ride around the autocross.

I still have effects from whiplash in my neck. :p Guess I got bitten! There were a ton of fast mopars (including a yellow viper that ran in the 10's). Great event!

Hey Chuck I missed you I didn't get there till 12:30, I think. I did bring my bike however, when I got it out of the van, I pedaled it twice and the chain came off and got jammed. Took me an hour to fix.

Here's the last of my photo's. I ran in the viper twice around the course. Once at a nice pace and one a full throttle! :D The guy you see in the center, with the brown shirt, that's Steve.

what happened?

vd

Either a piece of tire rubber got under the side sill or a small oil leak on the exhaust. It was hard to tell exactly what caused it. Fortunately, they were able to put it out before the car went up in flames. Although it was close for a few seconds. Flames started to come out of the wheel well.

Hey guys awesome time. That was my first time drag racing and it was better then I thought (don't tell my road racing buddies) "D" great pics as always .....sorry for making you autocross and missing a chance at a trophy drag racing.:( but then again it was to big and would have stuck to far out of the car and slowed you down for the ride home :) This was my 1st Zone Rendevous and everyone did a great job to bad we have to wait 2 years for the next.

Major props to the NJ Region for doing such a great job! Thanks Larry and Bob!

Biggest impression is just how fast our cars are when you see them up against everything else out there.
