Some have tried (I think unsuccessfully) to sell 98/99 wheels for $1200 or so. Until people start restoring the Gen 2s and wants everything OEM, most people use them for track wheels (though they are heavy as anchors and not great track wheels). For perspective, I sold a set of forged 97 wheels (17 inch) for $400. They sat a long time in the classifieds before someone wanted them even at that price.
