Thanks Rick, some nice pics, pulling in the videos as we speak!

I hope that photo of George schooling me out of the hole is in the bracket racing, not sure what he had dialed in at, but the only slip I have of us is his .567 to my.573, his 2.03 to my 1.93, and ending at his 12.68 at 109.97 to my 12.22 at 116.13.

Fun day had by all, met a lurker from the boards that hopefully will slither over to the post section and write something since he pulled low time of day, mine was 12.175 against the MotorCityModMan who had some traction problems on that run!!

Ended up taking third place in top class with first and second going to trailered, slicked sponsored point chasers that do this every weekend, the pic of my trophy acceptance is not up yet at their site, I'll link it when it arrives....

Met Kyle who had a drawing of my car waiting for me for the last 6 months by chance, picked that up, thanks Kyle.
Met Rick, thanks for all the pics and vids, Rick will be joining our ranks shortly!!

And of course GTSJeff, lurking on over to the gas station to join the fun, Cdn change in hand from a Casino visit in 2000, hahaha!

fun time,

RickL was nice meeting you and thanks for the videos and pics. You did a great job on the media.

Ryan was great to meet you. Congrats on the trophy. Was nice to see a viper win.

Sean and Mike was nice seeing you again (thanks for the invite)
We will have to go again come spring time. It was a lot of fun, too bad we couldn't get any more runs in that day.

time to slither back to my lurking spot hahaha

Nice to meet you RickL. Had a fun time racing with genXgts, GTSJeff, and my buddy Michael. Disappointed I only got 4 runs in. Thanks for sharing the vids and pics Rick. The 2Vipers video is me in my blue/white Viper vs. GTSJeff, that was a great, close race with GTSJeff beating me by a tenth. I am the blue/white Viper with the Viper windshield sticker in the still pics. First time I was able to get 60' tiems below 2 seconds on my stock street tires. And GTSJeff was able to get some high 1.8 sec 60' times. Too bad it was a little slick after you got out of the launch area or maybe some of us would have been in the 11's.

I am downloading the vids as we speak, but I hope you didn't get my bracket race run against genXgts. I should be put in the Viper drag race hall of shame for that run.

Revved it up just a little too high hoping to get a great 60' time and hop into the 11's. Ahhh, it didn't happen. Congrats to Ryan for bringing home the trophy and not driving his car home on a trailer.

Ryan,

Thanks again for the ride in your car, I can't wait to get one!!! Congrats on your trophy too. The pics and vids were no problem, I just wish I would have had another cd so I could have taken more. Kyle's drawing was pretty impressive!

There were a lot of people there running their best times of the year including Matt Harlan in the Firehawk 10.40 @ 140 and Tom Kempf in his '00 Z28 9.41 @ 135.

It was nice meeting the 3 of you.

Sean,

I think I had that video of Ryan vs. You in the brackets, but deleted it before I even talked to you guys (Sorry Ryan)

Wheeew, I'm glad that video of my one and only bracket race got deleted. Ryans loss (of video) is my gain, although Ryan kicked my butt on that run. I thought it was bad enough I had 1 or 2 timeslips in the low 13.0's at that Milan grease pit a few months back due to the extremely poor track conditions, but my run on Saturday,

cough...cough oh my. Ryan, please burn the timeslip as you have both of them.

Never had so many fast cars at an event I went to before. Have run against some cars in the high 10's and low 11's, but nothing like Saturday. The high 8 second Camaro, the I think high 9 second snowmobile...SNOWMOBILE....never saw that before, only in Canada ehh? Lots of other cars in the 10 second range. I suppose with slicks the somewhat slippery track in some spots didn't bother some people.

That 8 Second Camaro belongs to Agostino Racing (one of our Motown Muscle Sponsers) and the ******* the snowmobile is Wade from Agostino's wife.

Harlan's car definitely has 9's in it running 140 mph, but his 60's weren't great. Tom's car has lower 9's in it but he let off at the scoreboard thinking that was the end of the track and he also had a head gasket problem since he has stock gaskets.

I was impressed by the way the Vipers were 60 footing.

This is only the 2nd track I have run at next to Milan. But I must say as wet as the track started out from the overnight rain, and with the close to 40 degree temps the launch area of the track was real sticky if you got in the groove. I usually spin my tires at Milan no matter how I launch and you can hear it pretty bad whenever someone videos me, but on Saturday it really dug in up in Grand Bend. Too bad I couldn't have got more than the 4 runs I got as I think I really would have got some great times after I learned the track and got in the swing of things after I hadn't drag raced in a few months. Ahh, til next year. Maybe I'll try out Norwalk, Ohio next year.
