picture sizing questions/suggestion

On many of the other boards I read, if someone posts a huge picture that goes outside your screen area only that 1 post actually extends outside the screen. The board software keeps all the other posts on that page normal size. On here, if someone posts a huge pic it pulls every posts on that page outside the screen with it. This makes the posts difficult to read since you have to use the horizontal scroll bar to read the end of every sentence. Can we fix that to limit the oversize to just the one post that the pic is in, and not the whole page?

Not with the current software.

On a side note, if you use MSIE5/6, you can turn on auto image-sizing.

I usually try to limit my pictures to only 500 pixels wide.

I also try to keep them below 100K if possible.

Just about every digital camera comes with software now that will let you crop, adjust sizes and set the quality.
