I see the new Gen V is running a 355x30R29 rear. I thought Pirelli had stopped making this tire. I can only assume that Pirelli has resumed production on this tire. Does anybody know who else might be manufacturing a tire of this size? I currently have these on my car but I do need to replace them this summer.

My understanding is Pirelli stopped manufacturing their Pzero 355/25R19, I recommend you inquire with Luke at the Tirerack for the latest information.

They stopped making them awhile ago. So, unless you get lucky and find some that have been sitting on a shelf for awhile, you will have to wait until the Gen 5 car is released to get the 355's.

I looked at the pics and noticed that the Gen V at the New York Auto Show had 345s. I guess the 355s are not in production yet.

That is interesting. I was just assuming they had done all of the testing with the new size? maybe they have with some proto type versions, but not avail or just assuming the 10mm difference will not be that big a deal in testing (only better).

Guess I will be going with the 345's. I will check with Tire Rack as well just to see if they have any info or heard any rumors. Thanks guys.

I called Luke just the other day on this to get a set of Gen 5 tires. He said they are not available YET (and they are not on the Racks web site yet) but that he will post when they become available.

I have a sneaking suspicion that these tires will cost more than the Gen IV Michelin tires.
