OD appears to be 1 5/8 or slightly less. I don't have a caliper or mic handy so I measured with a steel rule.

start with the tail pipe, less abrasive.

1-5/8 woulda been my guess too. I'm gonna see if I can "smooth" out the mess in the collector "turn". That's gotta be a huge restriction. End up with a 3 inch exit!!!
