Quaife Differential Question

For those that have installed the quaife what exactly do the bolts that hold the output shafts thread into. I've seen most with 2 allen bolts that hold the output shafts in.

Mine has one long bolt with a bushing in the center and end on each side. It goes through the output shafts and 2 nuts and a washer on each end to hold it in place. If you look through my differential with the output shaft pulled out you can see all the way through to the other side with nothing there except a small disk looking thing in the center section.

Unitrax does a machine operation to adapt the Quaiffe to the viper stubs.
