Quality Aftermarket Subwoofer that fits in the OEM location for a 99 RT?

Hello,

I have a 99 RT10, and the center Subwoofer is blown. Could anybody tell me the Make and Model of a good aftermarket subwoofer that will fit in the OEM location without any modifications?

Kicker 6" and JL Audio W3 seem like popular choices around here and I personally will be trying a pair of JL 6W3's in my GTS

Do you know if the JL 6W3 will fit with any modifications? JL 6W3 looks pretty deep

not sure about the 99, but last week I replaced mine in my 02 RT/10 and it was 6.5" Kicker CVT, here's what I put in, make sure it is 4ohm, I purchased 1ohm the first time and had to return it, was draw'n to much power from amp forcing amp to shut off (safe-mode) at volume level 20. I ended up getting the 4ohm and it works great. Here's the ebay link...

and then I bought this grill and it looks awesome but your old grill will still work if you don't wanna change it.

Sounds really good, I'm impressed with the quality and even when the volume is high it's still very crisp...Here's a few pics. My door speakers just came in today but didn't install yet. I ended up getting JL's C2650 ( http://www.jlaudio.com/product/4489...13&c=0&o=pla&gclid=CNrc4Pa63rACFWaFQAod1k-u2Q ) and then bought kicker grills so they all match...

BTW you can get the JL's on ebay for bout $140 and the kicker sub woofer about $55-60

I have the same JL's in the door and paid just under $140 from an authorized dealer.
I have the co-axil C2's in the hatch area now and was thinking of replacing them with the kicker subs.

thanks, just keep in mind the grill is not included, it'll set you back another $23.00 but looks so much more updated than the factory grill...here's a link to where I bought mine...
