I am putting an Evo seat in the car this weekend. I plan on taking the stock seat belt all the way out.
I want to make certain that the red seat belt light doesn't come on. So, the two wires that go to the female end of the seat belt receptacle would either be wire nutted together to complete the circuit or left apart depending on if it is a normally open or closed switch (that will be easy enough to find out).
Before I did this, I wanted to see if others had done it and if there was a better way of disabling the red light instead of the procedure I have in mind.
