rain & soft top

Has anyone been out in heavy rain with the SRT-10 soft top? Does water eventually seep in or does it repel ok? I'm trying to go out with other vipers on the cruise this saturday but heavy rain is expected. Give me your feedback. Thanks

I have been in very heavy rain several times and there has not been one drop leak through...now when I had my GTS I always got dripped on! Go figure...

Looks like it might be a rainy winter, we're off to a good start. Thanks for the reply. Do you use any water proofing on the top?

Been caught in heavy rain several times, no leak or dampness at all. I think Dodge had some help on the design of the SRT top. It almost reminds me of MB, and BMW in quality.

I did not use any sort of waterproofing.

JimK...I have experienced no water related problems with the SRT-10 top and don't expect to as it does seem to be of high quality. I'd go out and enjoy the cruise; no need to let the possibility of a shower keep you from the fun.
