I have no idea on the top speed of the Viper bike, but on the Chevy powered Bosses, 1st gear is good to 120 MPH or so. They have been well documented over 200 MPH, but no one has ever been able actually stretch one out. I know at 160, mine still feels fairly stable. Anything over that...I don't have the ****..I won't lie about it. The wonder of these machines is the torque factor, and the acceleration. They are truly awesome machines, and your adrenalin is pumping every time you fire it up and get astride of it. No matter what the weather or temperatures, there is a smile on my face. Someone asked about the heat..they are no hotter than a full dresser while riding. I have been in Florida in August...still comfortable.
