I needed to remove the rear bumper on my GTS last weekend and noticed that there were four broken tabs on the top of the peice that slides under the license plate area. I really didn't think much of it at the time, but now as I am reinstalling I realize that these were actually bolted tabs at one point.
My question - How would one get to these tabs (to presumally unbolt them) as they are sandwhiched between the carbon fibler guard and the chassis??? I assume that the person who did this just ripped them out to get the cover off. Also, since the car ran almost 30k without these tabs is it something I need to worry about when I put the cover back on?
#2 - The original cover doesn't want to go back on properly now that it has been off a week. I've tried to re-install, but there is so much stress on the bottom bolts that I worry it will rip them off as well.
