On June 15th several members of the Motor City Viper Owners attended an open house at the headquarters of Roush Racing. Here's a shot of the crowd (not at MCVO'ers) and Jack's personal FordGT:
As you can imagine, there were lots of hopped up Fords around there. This Mustang claims to have one of the faster 0-60 times I've seen in a street bodied car:
And there were some interesting looking concept cars:
But of course, Roush works on Vipers too. There were the Competition Coupes --
and the SEMA SRT Coupe that is featured on the cover of the current VIPER Magazine:
Then on June 24th a group of us went over the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest in Howell, Michigan.
They had a car show in conjunction with the balloon event and the Vipers made a good showing:
The highlight of the day was the main balloon lift off:
There were 53 balloons of all shapes, colors and sizes:
Finally at the end of the day we had a closing cocktail with our hosts, the Hegges, at their lakefront home:
All great Summer Viper fellowship!
