Do I have to remove the generator (or loosen its bolts) to pass the engine warning lamp switch connector behind it? I can pass the rest of that part of the wiring loom easily behind the generator (crank position sensor connector, oil pressure sensor, generator terminal) but that one seems too big to pass behind? It has a bulky light-green plastic casing to the outside of the connector, is this supposed to be removed?

Just in case I'm using different names for what I'm on about, its the green-case, single dark wire connector that goes onto the black colored sensor located front right-side of the block, just back on the side behind the oil filter adapter.

I know in the time it's taken me to type this up I could have loosened those genny bolts and pulled all that part of the wiring loom through! But, I'm sure the engines go in at the factory with the genny on, and so this little connector should fit through, and I'm miffed as to why it wont?!
