Everything is fine with my 03-viper. I just always felt like the suspension was buckling in the rear. I now the driveshaft makes noise because it is really short and it pops in and out. Getting back to the suspension is it just me or is it normal.... the way it clunks?

Clunky noise, very normal. Driving technique can lesson this. It's backlash from the very short aluminum driveshaft, not to mention the trans, and diff on these cars are big and heavy , like pickup truck size. The suspension should not make any noise what so ever. Firm ride and thats all. The exhaust system crossover is all mounted on rubber mounts, and tends to make a bit of noise I have noticed.

The driveshaft is not really moving in and out, the clunking is from the normal slack in the differential, enhanced by the short aluminum drive shaft. You are also sitting very close to all this action.
