For those who have experienced an O2 sensor code with a full header system;

is the sensor not reading and throwing a code?

or is the sensor feeding bad info back to the PCM causing poor emissions thus throwing a code?

I have to take my new purchase '01 GTS in for emissions, it will pass with a code light on, but not if the emissions are out of whack. Im hoping someone has first hand knowledge. I see cheater plugs and programmers for sale, but I'm trying to gain some knowledge before i start purchasing.
