Throttle respons

When I take my foot off the accelarator there is a second or two delay before the car starts to deaccelarate. My car is a -96 GTS.

Is this something I have to live with, or do I have to lubricate something?

Aluminum flywheel may help. Stock flywheel is steel and it's mass takes longer to spin down (and in theory spin up).

The condition (throttle hang) is a function of ECM programming that has been extensively documented on this board. Check the archives.
