Tire dressing that won\'t sling off all over the side of your car

Is there such a thing? If so, I haven't found it. Many of them claim they don't do it, but they do. Latest candidate to fail is Meguiar's purple looking tire gel. Let the crap sit overnight even so the tire could absorb it, and I still wound up having to wipe the crap off the side of the car (after I found it, which wasn't easy either on a black car).

Try wiping the tires down after you dress them. I've never had a problem with the Meguires product or the one from Griot's Garage. It sounds like you''re just using too much.

You have to wipe them down as Matt stated. One other product to try is Back to Black. But I always wipe them down after about a half hour or so.

Yep, use the tire Sponge, let it sit for a while and then wipe if off.
Makes a nice difference!

Oh, and keep it on LOW boost! :p

First off I'm sorry:

You sure it's not transmission dope on the side of the car

Yeah I am, but I heard 29 cents worth of tire dressing would add 30 rwhp if you put it in your nitrous/****/water/secret sauce tank. :D

Oh and if you had noticed I said it was hard to get off a BLACK car, and I don't own a black Viper.

Tropicare products...they make an awesome quick dry stuff...15 minutes later and it's done...easy. Check it out.

I have been using Zaino dressing for a few years now and love it. It lasts a long time and has never gotten on the side of the car.

I use tire foam, works great, isn't glossy and doesn't come off on the car

Try Zaino or 303 Aerospace. I think the Zainpo looks a little nicer on tires.

I too like the Zaino tire dressing....does not sling off. 303 works well, but washes off the first time the tire gets wet.

Haven't tried the Zaino tire dressing, although I've used the other Zaino stuff for years. Thanks for all the suggestions.
