Going to be changing the fluid on the viper this winter and was wondering what fluid you guys recommend for the tranny and the differential.

I have done some searching and see that the stock fill is 75w85 gear oil, is that correct. I also see that some people put in Dex VI, but isnt that ATF?

Also, the manual says that there should be an additive in the differential fluid.

Any guidance and suggestions?

Penzoil, GM, or Royal Purple "Synchromesh" fluid in the trans....everyone preaches stock fluids but have never tried this stuff. It makes a world of difference. Reduced gear noise and noticeably easier shifting even in my 25k+ mile transmission.
