Thanks Dave! for the quick reply on both Forums.. That other forum can be abrasive sometimes little bit more than 1000 to 2000.. LOL..

Going to get me some sandpaper tonight!

Consider at least getting a clear powder coat once you get em polished again. They tarnish quickly and before you know it you'll have nothing left to polish.

What Robzilla said...I gave up sanding them as the letters began to wear down and it quickly tarnishes. I'm currently getting my valve covers and intake powder coated including applying clear powder coat over the polished lettering/ribs.
