I mounted my unit exactly where Sean Roe suggested. I also mounted its LED panel on top of my Valentine remote display, which is attached to the center top of the steering pad. My car's at home so I can't send pictures at this time. I really like Sean's unit, which made a world of difference above 5K RPM.
It comes with an L shaped bracket and mounts near the drivers seat. It also makes a good place to mount nitrous switches. I have my remote bottle opener and purge valve next to the VEC1.
