At the 12hrs of Sebring (first race) after we worked all winter to get the car competive the session before Qualifing we might of tiped our hand and we clicked off a quick lap!!!!!!!with in 15 min. their where all of the IMSA officals under our tent and we had to put a 20% ristrictor in before we qualifed. It crushed us and we played catch up the rest of the year.

Since the ruling bodies OBVIOUSLY are cheaters I think that you guys should pull a Glidden and fill the rollcage with Nitrous Oxide and add a dry kit to your car. Inject the Nitrous into the intake manifold through a vent hose. You'd only need enough Nitrous to overcome the 20-40% restrictor plate so YOU COULD KICK ASS!

Since the 'rule makers' are CHEATERS it makes it fair and a moral obligation to outsmart them and kick ass. Too bad you could make your Viper look like a vette and run with their rules?

CHEAT Guys! Maybe you could cause a driver controlled Intake leak that would equal the retrictor plate restriction? "Accidently" cut the brake booster vacuum hose?

Here on the VCA you have access to a lot of experts and the SRT engineers (after you become a member). The Dodge SRT engineers arranged the "World's Fastest Road Car" even with the driver mssing shifts and having only 3 runs around the Ring. Perhaps one of those guys would really like to help some Viper race guys (on "off-duty" time of course) build the power that restrictor plates cut back??? It's worth a try. The SRT engineers I met were great guys, smart and proud of what they'd accomplished. We have a CAD guy here that may also have some valuable input with Mike/2000_Black_RT10 He has experience with CCs, Lotus and various other race teams, designers, susp esperts etc.
