The instructions say to:

"Inspect the oil at 15,000 miles and change it if dark. If it is not dark, continue to run it and check it at regular intervals" "If changing the oil: use a "Multi-Weight Synthetic Oil." I will be using 10W-30 Amsoil in mine.

Does anyone know what oil is used for the initial fill on the Roe SC? I need to top my oil off tonight and Roe is closed. Also the Castrol GTX SAE 5W-30 mentioned above is not a synthetic oil. I though we were suppose to use only synthetic oil multi-viscosity oil in the SC. Anyone know for sure?

BTW, Kenne Bell recommends Redline 50W synthetic racing oil for the same SC. http://www.kennebell.net/techinfo/general-info/SuperchargerOil.pdf

Let Kenny know that if they don't want to debate what oil works best, they should get the name right. There is no such designation as a "50W" viscosity. Also, having a clear oil to start with can be as much a warning as a sign of quality - molybdenum friction modifiers, for instance, are "good" but leave the oil with a green tint.
