What is leaking on my car? Diff or half shafts?

I replace the diff fluid today.... and in the process noticed this little leak...

Is this a diff problem? half shaft problem? what is it?!?!?!?

Can I leave my car this way till the spring (I will be winter parking it in 1000miles)? is it risky to drive it????

Looks like an axle seal to me. From what I understand pulling out the axles on these cars is some serious work... Really depends on how much you are leaking. Do you see puddles of fluid when its been parked for a few days?

Agreed, looks like the differential bearing seal for the axle. If it hasn't gotten bad enough to make more mess than that, I would clean it up and look at it again after a thousand miles. I don't think that it is risky to drive it. I guess that one could conceive of a scenario where the bearing is worn and causes some wobbling to occur, allowing oil past the seal. However, usually the issue is that the rubber in the seal just gets hard with age and low usage. ESPECIALLY if a car sits unused for long periods of time. Like a 2003 car with 2000 miles on it.
