Well...don't feel to bad...

I listen to Old School Gansta Rap, such as Bone Thugs and Harmony, Snoop, Warren G, Dr. Dre, and Eminen. Sometimes when I am not in the mood for Rap, I listen to Hawaiian music.

Just in case you guys are wondering, what is Hawaiian music. It would be a mix of reggae and country with a twist.

This is the thread where I feel really old! LOL! Ha ha, I got hooked on the music of my older brother when I was a pup. I'm still learning to play Jimi's songs even today!

Jimi Henrix, my biggest influence
Robin Trower
Eric Clapton
BB King
Joe Satriani
Led Zep
Gary Moore
anything that rocks, or is "bluesy"

When my wife is in the car, we listen to Andrea Bocelli, Luicano Pavarotti, and Celine Dion. Hows' that for extremes?

LIVE (the band)... Throwing Copper, the album. good viper music.

And, of course, I have my "Vipah mix" CD which includes all the tunes that have been on the radio or CD player during a time that I got pulled over by the authorities.

Not that I was always pulled over in the viper, but each tune brings back distinct memories... Oh yeah... and they are all tunes that make you want to drive fast.

Stock radio......I can't hear any music! ;)

I prefer the whine of the blower and the racket of the exhaust.

Techno, trance, and 80s (all great "driving" genres). Just pop in something like "Take On Me" or "White Wedding"--perfect mood!

I admit it I'm a fossil at 42.

On the contrary Bill, 42 would make you still a pup. I passed that a long time ago.

Your list is good. Here's a few more to add I didn't see:

SRV(we were at the Alpine Valley show in 1991 when he crashed),Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Outlaws, Thin Lizzy, Doobies, Keb Mo, Delbert McClinton, Susan Tedeschi,Heart, Santana, Taj Mahal(late 60s/early 70s). I even throw a little Led Zeppelin in now and again.

Blackfoot's Highway Song is definitely one of the classics from the late 70s.

Steve
