Glad you said Sirius and not XM... Sirius is just under $7 /share and I think it'll be at 10 by the end of the year. no competition except XM in that space...

"Techno, trance, and 80s (all great "driving" genres). Just pop in something like "Take On Me" or "White Wedding"--perfect mood"

Ditto! Depeche Mode, Billy Idol, Wolfsheim, U-96, PPK, Rammstein, Schiller, Driftwood, Delerium, Colony-5, Brainbug, Antiloop....

I am 45 years and got stuck in the 80's techno and synth music.
I have a MP3 player, so I rarely listen the same song, since I have about 130 songs on one CD....and carry about 5 of them in glove box.

Rush, Red Barchetta. Dangerous song, makes me want to race someone or just drive faster and faster. It's about the future where cars with engines are illegal, only alloy air cars allowed, so he sneaks out the old Ferrari on weekends in the country.

The 1st Matrix Sound track is great too. I'll make my own CD's from the ones I like. Maybe a little Alice Copper as well.

Demitrious are you profiling Viper owners?

Linkin Park's Reanimation album is the first CD I listened to in the car, so it kinda remains my favorite. Rob Zombie works well also. I have an extensive audio library, but low miles keep my V10 audiophile sampling down.

Most of this music is almost as old as me! What can I say, I love the 80's. :headbang:

There's a man with good taste. I also listen mostly to 80's in the viper. Including what you've already listed, I listen to Bon Jovi, **** Chung, Cyndi Lauper, The Outfield, Roxette, and Mike and the Mechanics.

As a man not being able to live my life without music, here are my personal suggestions for you Viper drivers:

War - Lowrider STRONGLY recommended :2tu:

Most of Kid Rock, especially:
Lay It On Me (you gotta listen to this one, it will instantly get the vibe outta you when driving the Snake, seriously).
Cowboy ('nuff said :D ), and most songs off his album Devil Without A Cause.

The Charlie Daniels Band - Devil Went Down To Georgia (devil might be interpreted as Viper by some)

Snap - The Power (another 'nuff said)

For those of you that have a wiggling tail fetish (girls or Vipers that is :D ):
Don Henley - All She Wants To Do Is Dance

When trying to tell your Viper what you want it to do:
The Corrs - Breathless

Will Smith - Nodd Ya Head for those "new hotness, pitch black 600 (with a little mods) man" owners :D :2tu:

The Knack - My Sharona :2tu:

Alice Cooper - Poison (a 'nuff said in more ways than one :D )

Most anything of Aerosmith, one of the blood/adrenaline pumpers IMO is:
Walk This Way feat. Run D.M.C.

I have this vision of a Viper burnout **** whilst listening to this song :D :
Def Leppard - Pour Some Sugar On Me
A couple of other songs by them are also recommendable.

Marilyn Manson - ************, Mobscene

Dope - Debonaire

Tone Loc - Wild Thing :2tu:

Bubba Sparxxx - Deliverance (and maybe more of his songs, haven't searcched for him yet).

En Vogue - Free Your Mind :2tu:

Anything AC/DC like some of you already suggested

Most of Bon Jovi, in particular (IMO) It's My Life, Wanted Dead Or Alive (both 2003 revamps, but the regular ones are good too)
