Where do you get clear marker lights, and how much?

I just spoke with a sales rep at Makoto Auto Trends. To get a wholesale price a $500 buy in is required, plus a resale lic. They would not even go for the $40 ebay price. They are $45 on their web site.

What is the purpose of the clear marker lights? Just for appearance? Do they look that good? Sorry but I can't see how they enhance the look of the car?? Please enlighten me.
