I just purchased an 8,000K kit from VenomBlue as well. Stu, is the kit really that good? How was the install?

Can't wait to get it hooked up once it arrives.

Cheers,
-Justyn

Honestly I don't know I had Chuck install them for me.

I got the 6000K and I love them fogs and headlights look great at night plus you can see EVERYTHING and it really reflects off road signs so you can see the good at night, IMO well worth the $600 for the set plus the install.

With 8000K you will see a bit more of a bluish look (like audi and Bmw only brighter) then I do.

Good luck with the install and let me know how you like them.

P.S is you run into any install problems give Chuck Tator a call he did mine and a few others so he'd know and you know Chuck always willing to help.

piece of cake... remove front fender panel, pop off rear panel on headlight assembly remove old bulb, plug in new unit and you're done. I bought my kit from an ebay supplier and they work great. I think I paid 275 for my kit.

Excellent -- sounds quite easy from what I've seen. Can't wait to get them installed!

Did either of you have to re-aim your lights?

Thanks,
-Justyn

Stay under 6000K for the best light output. I prefer 5300K, very white with a blue tint. Higher kelvin ratings just become more and more blue while reducing total lumins. I saw they have purple HID's now :ugh:
