They already come with a magnetic plug.

Somewhere I saw this magnetic clamp you can attach to your oil filter. Should do the same trick, right.

Griots Garage has the magnetic band that goes aroubd the filter. You can also go to a hardware store and get a magnet for just a few dollars to put on the bottom of the filter which is what I do. I secure the magnet from migrating around with just a little silicone. Just peel it off the back of the filter and use it over and over. The magnet not the silicone that is.
