I saw that video before its fake.
it was on honda hookup.com for awhile might still be there, theres a bunch of B.S commin from honda hookup hondas smoke lambos,vipers,ferrari's ect its all B.S to hype the products.

Why are some of you saying it is fake? It looks pretty real to me. And why is it so hard to understand that there are other cars out there that are faster than Vipers? Even ricers? I hate ricers as much as the next guy but if you stick 10 g's into a Supra, you got tons of HP and TQ that will walk a lot of Vipers out there. Sorry people but it just a fact of life. All that it takes is money.

You can make anything fast with enough money and effort.
I saw a "Civic" (hollow shell of a dragracer) running 10s at the track, but it's the kind of car that makes a dozen runs and then needs a rebuild. And of course like most dedicated dragracers, they often cannot handle corners well at all.
Most of the heavily tweaked imports that I've read about blow up fairly quickly under the pressure of repeated races and abuse.
Plus it says something about the Viper driver that he kept missing 4th gear.
You can make anything fast with enough money and effort.

There were ricer's in the 6's on SpeedVision a few nights ago. Total drag cars, but 4-****** engines!

It looks like to me that thet RT/10 just shut down. No way that was a real race. And as a side note...there should be a disclaimer that Viper drivers don't wear there hats backwards....

its not big deal is he was faster then hey I would be the first to give the guy his credit if he can make a civic beat a viper HES THE MAN BUT its fake so its not really faster.

No one doubts there are faster ricers out there - to each their own, but when you make a video that clearly lacks certian elements then you've stepped off the "see my car's faster" stage and onto the "see how stupid I think the world is stage." At that point you become subject to ridicule.
For instance -
You know, when I hooked up the Jackson Supercharger to my B20 setup in my old Del Sol the wheel spin/hop became so bad at higher revs the car became damn near uncontrolable, even on cheaters. In theory this civic guy had higher..*ahem*...torque on basically the same frame yet he's smooth as silk on the straights. I'm 99% sure you can easily build a quicker civic, but you'll need a kidney belt to drive it.
