Wiring VEC2 LED to shift light

Anyone wire a shift light up to the RPM LED on the VEC2 box?

If so, were you able to drive the shift light directly off that LED line without any problems and how did you get the wire outside the VEC2 enclosure?

I drive a LED off the VEC. Another easy install is the Raptor shiftlight. I've done both, using the VEC shift to lite at the point my nitrous turns off.

So to answer your question. Yes.
