My girlfriends father recently picked up a 2006 coupe. Since Christmas is around the corner, my girlfriends mother has been asking me what to get him. After trying to find something good, I only came up with the rubber front license plate bracket just incase a cop is giving out no front plate tickets. Since Im having a little bit of trouble, I was hoping you guys might have some ideas. What can she get that will fall under the price range of $500 or less?

Thanks!

Agree with the MGW shift knob, or get him some clothes...like the VOI 11 fleece, or a couple of the nice vcagoods golf shirts. I've given those polos to a few friends and they wear them a lot!

Also a nice set of custom floor mats is always cool, if the emblem (stitching color) matches the exterior of the car. I think I bought a set of Lloyd's mats.

Regards,
Aaron

Awesome ideas! MGW has some great stuff, I will look at Partsrack.com in a few. Anybody else have anything?

To me, the best mod someone can do to really enhance the driving experience cheaply is a muffler setup.

Why not do a $500 gift certificate from Partsrack, that although is officially good for anything, label it as an "Exhaust down payment"?

Plus, it will get rid of the factory crossover pipe that will become bothersome next spring/summer due to the cabin heat!

Just a thought! I have all the MGW goodies in my car, and will be installing them in my next as well...it's a great place to start too:D

A Big Viper Banner for his Garage and Viper Jacket. I took one of my Favorite jackets to a local embroidery shop that put it on the front and back for around $100. It is expensive the first time they do it because they have to digitize the logo. But any additional shirts you have done at that shop should only be about $10
They also made a large Red with white lettering banner (3 foot by 8 foot) for my garage for around $100

She can't really go wrong..Even if she bought this...He would like it...

Or, you could always buy a gift certificate from a Driving School of your choice, maybe one closer to home. (never can tell, it could be a lifesaver one day)

MKTAXMAN told me about the SRT class. The previous owner never did it so he can still do it. Hmm...

Go to Swift Motorsports. Look at their remote controlled electric front plate bracket. Press the remote and it pops up, press again and it hides away. I have one on my 08 Viper. Everyone that sees it wants one. Does require you to put a small slot in the front brake duct but that mod is invisible.

You can get baby boa constrictors from any pet store for 50$..at about 18 inches...

By a few pinkies for 5 bucks and you got it fed for a month..back in the day I was a reptile specialist...(fancy way of saying I was a manager and the reptile guy at a pet store LOL)

I swear there is nothin easier to keep as a pet than a red tailed Boa...beautiful creature and a surprising gift for a new Viper owner..

Of course talk to the pet store and ask them if you can have a return policy if he's not feeling it...

Kinda far fetched and out their but just throwing around an idea
