Gen 3 vs Gen 4 Differential
I had a Wave Track and 3.55 gears installed in my 2008 about 6 months ago. My local mechanic removed the carrier and I sent it to JBM Offroad in Corona Ca. The Wavetrac is far superior to Visco-Lok, and the 3.55 gears make for a much better driving experience.- John Micciche

Thank you Steve-Indy. Most of the parts I see listed on ebay are 05290129AA. Is this and interchangeable part? Where is the parts listing you are referring to?- John Micciche

2008 SRT 10 Differential clutches defective
I also have a 2008 SRT10, which was making a noise similar to what you describe. I did extensive research on the forums and discovered that there is a design flaw in the 2008 which makes it virtually impossible to remove the differential without cutting it out ( and destroying it).
