Saw your thread on gauge faces. I use a company called Speedhut.com for all my gauge faces when I am doing motorcycle builds. They make a base for the gauge face that illuminates so once you lay their face over it you can light the gauges and leave the numbers dark or vice versa or both. They also have designed the gauge faces where the hole in the middle is just big enough to get around the needle, kind of like mounting a tire on a rim. I have removed many needles using an interior screwdriver fork for a car, accomplishes the same as your spoon trick. If you send them the gauges they will make a template and be able to produce the faces in any color with any writing on them, backlit too! In real life my name is Rob Uecker the owner of Voodoo Custom Sport bikes. ( www.voodoomoto.com) check out my personal Viper and Hemi Cuda Bikes. Your enthusiasm for the Viper is great and I like reading your write ups.
