I might have to check that one out tommorow. The salesguy neglected to tell me about the model. I suspect because they didn't have one on the lot.
I sat in a porsche 911 turbo today. Seriously leaning towards that one. Way more comfortable then the viper :)
2" version didn't seem to push it any more forward, it was a big improvement on fitting in the car for me. Now its just a matter of fixing these seats.
Hmm i am going to go out there and give that a try right now. Good idea, because thats defintely my issue. My next resort Is trying and fit some solstice seats in my viper. They are perfect size for me, with great lumbar support :)
Thats exactly what it is, on top of that the sides push in, so my back doesn't make solid contact. I think I'm going to go to a custom interior place and get them to redo the seats. Remove most of the side padding, and add lumbar support.
I love my solstice, vette and expediton. But...
I have an 05, and I am a good size guy.. 250 6' 3"
Have lowered my seats however. No idea what causes it. Seats aren't that uncomfortable, but it just causes my back to hurt.
Btw I am 31 so i hope its not age yet :)
Everytime I drive my viper my back hurts. Not sure exactly what it is about the seats but they always end up hurting my back. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone have a solution, or a good source for replacement seats that are more comfortable?
Talked to eddie today, he actually doesn't live that far from me. Said he would pull the code and let me know if its a quick fix or not. If it isn't would trailer it down to his work one morning when he goes in.
Eddie defintely sounds like an awesome guy!

Ya most dealers I have seen will do S/C etc. Asking them to port your engine may be out of the question, but bolt ons seem fine.
My car is already S/C'd i just need the air bag light off. I may hook a scanner up to mine and see if I can diagnose it myself. I think its just a lose wire...
