Sorry Paul - I was in a hurry to get to the launch ramp in the morning, and in a hurry to get to my family obligations in the afternoon. I just had to squeeze out a few hours to gather little crawly things from the bottom of the canal!

Fresh Prawns go with just about anything - except maybe *** Rootbeer. :dunno:
Does that get me out of bringing any? :naughty:

They DO go with a nice pilsner or wheat ale, though. I'll be heading home (about 5 mins. up lake) around noon. Wife has an open house to host & I'm on kid duty then. You bring the prawns, I'll fire up the BBQ. :2tu:.

Seriously though, anyone wanting to make a day of it can swing by my place after or during the latter part of the show for some billiards/foosball/Speed Channel. That includes the non-car show people too. :drive:

I know, I placed in the line about the forcast. Just checked and the temp went up to 73 :fingersx::fingersx::fingersx: however, the sun/clouds changed to just clouds. Looks to be a nice overcast day - perfect for pictures of dark cars. :rolaugh:

After reviewing last year's post about this here are two additional pieces of info:

1. Once you're in you're not locked in. You can leave whenever you want.
2. You should at least try to stay until 2 or 3pm when they start giving out awards... But you're not required.
3. A request from me: If you're just going to show up for 10 minutes then leave please do not park with us. There's no sense in paying money for a show you're not interested in. Plus, I hate lining everyone up nice and neat only to have several cars leave, thereby creating holes in our perfectly crafted photo opportunity.

Everybody is be pretty rough on the yellow...
I'll gladly park next to a yellow car. Its the only time they can keep up with me anyways:rolaugh:

I am still planning to come, especially since they are forecasting 73 degrees. I will bring the soft top in the trunk as our local forecasters have been known to get it wrong.

It looks like we have lots of colors of cars and we can mix them so we don't have the same color cars together. It should look nice if a bunch of us show up.

Basically, take the Front street exit, turn left, After 1st light, Krispy Kreme will be on the right, same lot as Home Depot, next to Fred Meyer. If you somehow make it to McDonalds, you went too far.:drive:

And it is confirmed (though I was partially joking) - Steve is bringing fresh prawns for the BBQ after the show!!! I will be kicking you out around 7ish to get the boys to bed. Unless you've had too many prawns, then I will call you a cab and confiscate your Viper. :D

Did you guys read the first post where I laid all this out?

"The show starts at 8am but you need to show up around 6:45 to get a good parking spot in the middle of everything. I think the fee is about $15. That enters you into the car show to be judged, and gets you some type of goody bag (based on past experience). We'll plan to meet at the Krispy Kreme nearby and then head over together so that we can park together. If I can get an idea of the number attending I'll see if we can get something set aside(maybe, maybe not)."

So, yes, let's all plan to leave Krispy Kreme at exactly 7am so that we do indeed all drive over and park together. Otherwise we'll be spread out and poorly organized.
