Part # 04865822AA
I'm headed to the dealer to order another one today. Think I'll use screws this time around. :omg:
Same as a Caravan, if memory serves.
edit:
and JonB can get, just not worth it. Shipping would be more than the part costs.
OK, I told a friend that there were a ton of threads here about paint but I can't find any with the info I'm looking for.
Does anyone have any good technical info for the factory paint process for a 2001 MY with stripes that I can pass along to the painter?
Front facia is being repainted...
Paul's really stingy - he gives you matching chairs but keeps #10 of 50 as his screen name? Outrageous! :rolleyes:
First time I met the guy, he had the nerve to hand me a box full of Viper stuff that wouldn't even fit in my trunk!
Congrats!! :2tu:
No problem. Chatted with him this afternoon for a while. Seems like a nice guy. He's actually never even ridden in a Viper and isn't in a rush. Currently a modified Audi S4 owner. I gave him a few pointers and invited him to come out to one of our open events in the near future.
Price seems ~$5k high for similar cars with that mileage (judging from my 30 seconds of research on cars.com) I'd be happy to take a look at with you. If you can pick one up before next Saturday, our dyno day is coming up in Hobart on the 17th. Send me a PM if interested.
:drive::2tu::2tu::2tu::drive:
You made Barb help, and you're still able to type???? I'm surprised you're not in a full body cast. :dunno:
How do you like how I was conveniently - I mean unfortunately - out of town when Steve called me to help out? :D
Angelo's has the early (so far unanimous) lead.
Wednesday is ahead for day of week with Tuesday trailing by one vote!
Keep those votes coming in!!! :2tu:
PM sent. I used to do some pretty decent custom stereo installs too (never got paid as they were my own, but competition quality). If the rain is too much, I could help you slap in door speakers in < 10 minutes + beer/BS time.
Please post your opinions/suggestions for our 2010 monthly dinners. Angelo's in Bellevue was our last meeting place.
Vote for Venue and day of week, please!
From section 19-4 in my manual;
Condition: Chirp or squeal (power steering pump)
Possible causes: 1. Loose power steering pump drive belt.
Correction: 1. Check and replace automatic belt tensioner as necessary. Replace belt if worn or glazed.
8 year old rubber belt would be my guess. Easy...
Hey Ted! Didn't know you were in town till yesterday. If you're stuck here 'till Thursday and want to meet up for a drive, let me know. Maybe a quick cruise up to Snoqualmie Falls? If you've never been there, it's a pretty cool sight, especially now with the spring thaw.

My '04 came with the K&N's, but other than that was stock. Put down 457 RWHP/484 RWTQ at last year's dyno day (Mustang Dyno - approx over 530 at the crank) Next closest was an '05 at 447 RWHP (was yellow though & green filters). I would have won the stock trophy if the '08 cheater hadn't shown up.
And it's called the rear diffuser. (Diffuses air into a straight line at high speeds to suck the rear down) Too difficult to transition stripes into it being the reason for blackout.
What's the torque specs:
rear hub nut = RFT or 258Nm (190 ft. lbs.) and why did you remove this?
Cailper mounting bolts = 115Nm (85 ft. lbs)
ebrake bolts = upper bolt to 32Nm (24 ft lbs), lower bolt to 52 Nm (38 ft lbs)
ebrake spring nut = couldn't find this.
Manual says the only...
