So they are worth it then? I notice you have a paxton which plans to be my future setup if all goes well.. How do they handle in the rain? Any thoughts on the pirellis that fit our cars? Michelin sport non run flats or pirellis?
Just how much better is traction with the non runflat michelin's as opposed to the runflats?? Is it worth the change in a supercharged viper? I know you guys are going to say go with kuhmos but between these two tires which ones?? Or are the pirelli's better (the ones that fit our 19" wheels)?
Its so loud you can't even hear your radio at all??? Also, does it really hurt the paint?? I remember when I was running no cats and headers on my camaro SS back in the day when I used clay on the back of it a whole bunch of resin came off that wasn't visible to the eye... hmmm...
I want it loud... is it possible to do corsa track without high flow cats?? Is there alot of drone with this setup?? I don't want to go with the high flow cats because i've heard some of them have had issues...
Re: RIDE ALONG IN RICK-SRT10\'S 850RWHP SRT-10(IN CAR VIDEO)...
AWESOME!! That car had good traction too... how in the world did you get it too hook? lol
Viper X have you noticed alot of traction gain with the Quaife system?? I noticed you had an SRT10 at 750 rwhp... I plan on getting a viper and slapping a paxton on... i would like to run decent times with just streets tires, AKA low 11's.. So like I said just how much traction gain are we...
Viper X you said that the Nitto came out with a drag radial in viper sizes for the rear? I looked at Nittos website and they have no 19" drag radial sizes... Where you referring to an 18" rim size because I saw some 335's in that size?? I realize other wheel makers make an 18x13 size but I...
I too am located in chicago do you have a TT kit for the Gen 3's?? Also, what kind of warranty on the install and what are the various package costs installed? Thanks in advanced...
P.S. - If you need a Gen 3 test car I may be willing to donate one...
i plan on doing a supercharged immediately after purchase of my viper... I would love to get the kumhos but I don't know where i can find a 10 spoke srt 10 wheels that is 18x13??? also how do they handle in the rain???
I know i'm bringing this post back from the grave and hopefully someone will respond to it but just how much better in user experience are the pirelli pzero rosso at a 355 size??? also is there any rubbing that occurs at all??? thanks in advance guys.
Anybody have a pic of a SRT10 convertible with the H wheels on it.. i'm curious to see what it would look like if I decided to go this route... Thanks in advance..
i've been a member of the corvette forum since 2002 and the way they are acting is insane.. I have commented on that thread.. It honestly makes me sick all the bad mouthing that is going on with them... You guys seem to be handling it fairly well and I haven't heard to much bad mouthing (i'm...
I know this thread has been dead for a while but what about quarter mile times??? What kind of quarter mile improvement have you seen and do any of you have the racelogic unit?
how much will that calculate to in savings for the quarter mile?? i know unsprung weight is huge but just how huge for this car... i'm experienced with vettes sorry :(
So if they install the paxton the warranty will still be in place then on the vehicle?? This is huge for me.. I would definately get it done by them if thats the case... if you don't mind me asking how does the racelogic unit gel with your paxton? Do you find that it really help give you...
Me too, i'm preparing to get a viper in the next 2 months or so... I'm taking my time deciding exactly what I want... Good luck with your search chief.
thats what i was thinking about having done but i'm afraid of the extreme cost of labor at dealerships.. anybody have experience with woodhouse and paxtons?? I've heard its a great dealer though..
