    What state do you live in? If it rains or ever gets cold you will want a car with "REAL" windows, and don't even get me started on the P.O.S. factory top. I've had a gen-1 and a gen-2 and can only recommend the gen-2, don't forget all those gen-1 engines and their head gasket problems.

    Rubber window seals covered under warranty?

    I was told they were not covered past the first 12 months of warranty. That was in 1998 and I still had the 7-70warranty. I fixed mine by adding an extra plastic tack and used black silicone.
