Any Viper events/get togethers in the Raleigh,NC area ?

Our club normally has normally done four main events. The car show in Charlotte (April) , Mopars at the Rock (April), Viper Days at VIR (July) and an autocross in the fall (Sanford). There are various other small events (Dyno days, etc - normally in the Raleigh area) also. I'm sure Randy...

    EBC Reds or Hawk HPS??

I have used the EBC reds one time. They were bad on track and bad around town. I used EBC greens for normal driving and Brakeman for the track.

Installing Eibach's? How hard is it!

Re: Installing Eibach\'s? How hard is it! Don't forget that you will have to have it aligned afterwards. It took about 2 hours with two people (and the right equipment) to get mine done.

Random Tech Exhaust Help on 2002 RT10

The Random Tech is only the cat. converter. I don't believe they make mufflers. I have had a 3" Corsa exhaust + the Random Tech cats for quite a while on my 01 and have not had any problems. The noise level is very comfortable while cruising. I've ridden in cars with the Borla exhaust and...

Picking up my first Viper!!! Ship it or drive it?

Drive it, you'll like it. Most most memorable viper drive was when my wife and I drove my first viper from New Hampshire to North Carolina after the purchase. The viper is very comfortable once you are seated - the only issue is the lack of cruise control, but you probably won't care about...

    Foldable HardTop for a 2000 RT/10 ??

I'm also interested in whether or not it leaks. Another question would be if you could get the autoform roll bar in under it, so that you could use it at on the car at Viper Days events. I would consider selling my hardtop and softtop if it met both of these requirements.

    Who doesn't mind high mileage?

Re: Who doesn\'t mind high mileage? People who own Vipers and don't drive them everyday are wussies (except for those that don't drive them in snow, even I don't do that)

    Question about '94 RT/10 exhaust.....

Re: Question about \'94 RT/10 exhaust..... I agree with the no cats on a Gen1 car. You won't be able to tell the difference because the Gen1 engines burn so clean and the side sills will be way cooler. I had a borla muffler on mine. It was loud, but not unbearable until I installed headers.

I just got home from jail....anyone in here a traffic attorney? BS charges

Re: I just got home from jail....anyone in here a traffic attorney? BS char I guess I'll have to stop baiting people at lights now. Lately, I've taken to revving the engine up at a light when somebody won't leave me alone (camaro, mustang, etc). When the light turns I watch the other driver...

A new danger for everyday drivers

All of this is worthwhile info guys. I guess if it can happen to me, it can happen to about anyone. I know every officer around this area has had a chance to observe me driving around town, obeying the law. I drive very conservatively back and forth to work (maybe six years ago it was a...

A new danger for everyday drivers

I plan on calling the police in the morning to see if I can get the report. I want to read it to see what cause they had to go to my house and wake me, my family and my neighbors up. I think the whole thing was pretty lame. I believe they pulled up my tags and made up the information. No one...

A new danger for everyday drivers

They said they tried to call me, but I had just moved and their numbers were not valid. Again this is not true because they had my address right and my new number is not unlisted. I'm sure they could cross reference it. I had not driven the car since 5 pm so I didn't really care at the time...

A new danger for everyday drivers

At three AM this past Thursday night I woke to the sound of my front door being pounded upon and the door bell ringing. As I struggled to get my clothes on, I noticed that there was a sea of blue light activity outside of my house. I was thinking something terrible had happened to a family...

How do you get your hard top off your RT/10 by yourself?

I take my shoes off and put my right foot in the driver's seat, crouch under the top and then lift the top off with it balanced on my head. I can take it off standing from the side, but this way is much easier.

    Daily Driver

I've driven a Viper daily for the last 5 years, but I'm not quite at Chuck's 98K miles- I've only put about 82K on my cars. The rear tires like to pick up every nail in the road after they are more than 50% worn. The only real problem I see is that you get so use to driving the car that some...
